Our new season is starting and that means tryouts are open for new members who are interested in joinging the Makos. If you are interested, please come along any day (Monday to Friday) from 8/29 to 9/2 between 4:00pm-4:30pm to the Live Oak High School swimming pool. We look forward to seeing you there.
The Makos continue our annual tradition of marching in the Morgan Hill Freedom Fest Parade on the 4th of July. This year we had great participation from the club members who showed their support and dedication to the club. Our float was amazing and we won two prizes: Best Amateur Float GRAND PRIZE: BEST IN SHOW Huge thanks to Jill Hertzer, her family and the volunteers who contributed to the creation of the float and made the event a Makos success. We've created a simple Swag Store to share stickers, buttons, magnets and more with the club members. You can find the link in the Store drop down menu at the top of the website. All proceeds from swag will go directly to the club. If you have suggestions for other swag ideas please let us know!
Today was the first day of tryouts, which are running all week. We had a great turn out of new swimmers and everyone made a fantastic effort. All the kids got drinks and snacks to celebrate. More tryouts throughout the rest of the week. Special thanks to the coaches and volunteers who helped coordinate everything to make today a success.
